Abstract

El patrimonio histórico educativo desde el acervo antiguo y los libros de pedagogía en México.El trabajo tiene como finalidad dar a conocer el patrimonio histórico educativo desde el acervo antiguo, bajo el análisis de los libros de pedagogía, que fueron textos de consulta de los estudiantes para el magisterio de fines del siglo XIX y las primeras dos décadas del siglo XX en San Luis Potosí, México. El artículo es producto de una investigación desde el campo del patrimonio histórico educativo y de la historia de la educación. El proceso analítico se enriqueció con las fuentes primarias localizadas en el Archivo Histórico de la Benemérita y Centenaria Escuela Normal del Estado de San Luis Potosí. Los textos de pedagogía localizados en el acervo antiguo, utilizados por los estudiantes normalistas, constituían la fuente de acceso a los conocimientos teóricos de la educación moderna, base esencial de los estudios para el profesorado. Los resultados arrojan información sobre la formación del magisterio durante el Porfiriato, el plan de estudios y sus asignaturas, en especial la de pedagogía, se ubica el acervo antiguo y los libros como fuentes de información para la formación de docentes en este periodo. La pedagogía, ciencia de la educación es uno de los ejes de la preparación del profesorado de esa época.

The goal of this paper is to show the educative and historical heritage from the former acquis, this is done by the analysis of pedagogy books used as a reference by students in teacher training in the end of the XIX century and the first two decades of the XX century. This work is the outcome of a research done in the field of educative historic patrimony and the history of education. The analytic process conducted in this investigation was enriched with the primary sources of the Historic Archive from the Benemérita y Centenaria Escuela Normal del Estado de San Luis Potosí. The pedagogic textbooks located in the archive, that were used by in-training teachers, were the main source of theoretical knowledge of modern education, as well as, the foundation in teacher preparation. Results show the teacher’s formation along the “Porfiriato” period. They also give insights about the curriculum used focusing on pedagogy subjects. The antique acquis and the books were taken as sources of information in teacher preparation at that time as well. Pedagogy, the science of education, was one of the main cornerstones in teacher’s formation of that period.
