The use of Input to improve Speaking Skills in students of a third group “A” in Secondary School

Abstract

This research analyzes the use of input as a resource to improve speaking skills in third-grade secondary school students. The study was developed through an action research process, implementing didactic sequences with communicative activities focused on oral interaction. During the intervention, readings, comprehension activities, discussions, and oral productions were used to encourage students’ participation in English. The results show improvement in students’ ability to express ideas, use vocabulary, and gain confidence when participating in speaking activities.
